Jayne offers an introduction to setting up your space for your breathwork practice, as well as guides you through box breathing to attune to your internal environment.
Breath Style : Varied
This class begins by zooming in on one element of the Frequency Breathwork practice. Whether it is finding a truly comfortable seat, tuning in with your energy, embodiment, or the science behind the breath you will always leave a little more informed than when you started. The breath practice will offer you direct practice and experience with the piece of information presented. This class is great for beginners or anyone looking to nerd out on minutiae of their breathwork practice.
How to Prepare :
Come with a curious mind and an open heart. Prepare to practice sitting upright or laying down. Wear comfy clothes and take a couple of minutes to turn off your phone and create the conditions for deep relaxation in your space.
About Your Guide :
As a dancer and yogi, Jayne’s heart likes to express itself through the physical body. She sees breath as the vehicle into our inner worlds. After all, breath, emotion and energy are all sensed and felt through the physical body. She believes our only task in life is to witness and observe our experience and to create meaningful connections with others along the way. Her sense of groundedness and inner joy tend to naturally empower those around her to freely express themselves and be in their beingness.
Jayne is 200 hr YTT Certified through Kula Yoga Project under the care of Nikki Vilella, and has participated in Conscious Embodiment and Breathwork Trainings with such notable teachers as Erin Telford, David Elliot and Zach Dacuk. She is Head of Content at Frequency.
When she is not leading breathwork, she is cooking for her loves or attending dance parties all over planet earth.
