Emily guides you through a sighing breath to help bring on a sense of calm. She puts your body in charge of this breath, bringing on feelings of release on a physiological level. She guides you into a Box Breath for finding a sense of freedom. And leaves you with a sweet period of rest, to just be.
Resilience is the capacity to recover quickly from adversity, to adapt well in the face of difficulty, to stay connected and grounded through whatever comes your way. Tuning in and using the breath we will learn to tap into the innate capacity of the body. Our breath is a metaphor for life. What do I need (inhale), and what do I need to let go of (exhale). Using our breath we will peel back the layers of doubt and uncertainty and plant a seed of trust and confidence in our ability to withstand. Our breath practice will consist of self awareness, mindfulness, self care, positivity and purpose - the building blocks of resilience.
